Finally I can post I had photographed the work of the special few posts ago. And 'cross was the only gift I made for this Christmas, not having enough time to do everything. This pattern I had seen him in a magazine called "Masterpieces of the cross point" that then is a collection of all the schemes of the magazine "Susanna." I like a lot of these magazines and we always find something interesting. In this case, the magazine last year, bought during the Christmas holidays. I saw this pattern and I thought immediately that it can match the style of the house and Nadia Sachertorte (blog here ), and so, since I had this too beautiful cloth (linen Chieri, Casacenina see links to the right column) to try, I started to embroider.
Then I had to give up after only the tree, because I had to make curtains for the bedroom of my nipotonzi (that I will post in the future when I can photograph hanging), and finally, in record time I managed to finish just right to deliver it before Christmas. It 'really liked, and this satisfies me, having made the effort to be able to finish in time ...

And now here's one of the new projects for the coming year (we hope to end this quickly and well, that can be considered a year to forget). A Quaker Jeremiah Junction, free to do in stages.
